Monaco’s FATF Removal Strengthens International Financial Governance

On 30 October 2026, the FATF removed Monaco from its grey list following progress in implementing reforms to strengthen financial supervision, investigations and asset recovery. Monaco’s authorities have indicated that further work will continue, including legislative reviews, a national statistical database and another national risk assessment; no specific budget for these initiatives was disclosed.
