Romania’s REI Group Starts EUR 2.5 Million Paper Packaging Factory

On 2 November 2026, REI Group began construction of a paper-bag and packaging factory in Călan, Hunedoara County, with an investment exceeding EUR 2.5 million. Around 62% of the investment is covered by non-repayable regional funding. The facility is expected to create at least 15 jobs and supply the e-commerce, food and retail sectors.
