Nepal Approves 252 Foreign-Invested ICT Projects in the First Quarter

On 30–31 October, Department of Industry data showed that Nepal approved 252 foreign-invested information and communication technology projects during the first quarter of FY 2026/27, compared with 162 in the same period a year earlier. Despite the increase in project numbers, the combined ICT investment commitment was NPR 928.37 million, approximately 5.7% of total first-quarter FDI commitments. The figures point to growing interest in smaller technology ventures rather than a single large technology investment.
