ASEAN and EU Strengthen Higher Education Cooperation in the Philippines

On 27–28 October 2026, the Philippines hosted the 4th ASEAN-EU Policy Dialogue on Higher Education in Manila, bringing together policymakers, universities, technical education institutions and industry representatives to discuss innovation, skills development and research supporting a sustainable blue economy. The dialogue was organised under the EU-funded Sustainable Connectivity Package – Higher Education (SCOPE-HE), although no separate event budget was disclosed.
